LA (Lee Anne) Finfinger is a full-time certified Power Yoga Instructor. She received her training with Amazing Yoga located in Pittsburgh by training in Costa Rica and Mexico. In addition to teaching at South Hills Power Yoga, she has also assisted teacher trainings, taught at local businesses and non-profits. She has attended workshops with Bryan Kest,
Kathryn Budig, Baron Baptiste, Natasha Rizopoulous, and
LA believes that yoga is accessible and life-changing. There’s something transformative about setting aside time for your own practice and showing up on the yoga mat. LA has found this practice to be both mentally and emotionally healing as well as an incredible physical workout. Students of power yoga will find that they gain flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, strength, and a more quiet mind. This practice has been transformative for LA. She previously worked as a Makeup Artist and an educator where she found that her poor dietary habits combined with too much stress resulted in feeling overwhelmed and spiritually under-nourished. Not a natural athlete, LA was surprised at how quickly she learned to love the way yoga makes her feel and hasn’t stopped practicing since. She is in awe of the way the practice has empowered her to become both an athlete and someone with a more quiet mind.
